BAS Pathway For Carpenters Apprentice

Under Lt. Governor Cyrus Habib’s initiative to enhance pathways to bachelor’s degrees, Central Washington University (CWU) and Renton Technical College are finalizing an agreement for carpenters apprentices. Students who complete their apprenticeship hours, all related instruction classes, and 20 credits of general education for the AAS degree in Multi-Occupational Trades will be prepared to enroll in CWU’s flexible, online Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Information Technology and Administrative Management, with a concentration in Project Management. Students also can take advantage of the FlexIT option, which is like WGU – self-paced and competency-based to fit in the unpredictable schedule of construction professionals. .
