Let's start off by busting a few misconceptions parents often have about working in the skilled trades.

Author Sarah Reijonen introduces children to life in the trades with her Tiny Tradesmen book series. The first book in the series, “Light Up the World: When I Grow Up, I Want to Be a Lineman,” which debuted in November 2021, is all about life on the lines.
FOCUS ON SAFETY: FALL PROTECTION PLAN
Did you know that falls are the leading cause of death in the construction industry? Falls cause one of every three construction worker deaths. Many of these falls are preventable. Prevention starts with the implementation of a Fall Protection Plan. Who needs a Fall Protection Plan? According to Washington Administrative Code 296-880-10020 an employer must develop and implement a Fall Protection work plan wherever employees are assigned and where fall hazards of ten feet or more exist.
