Morgan Mentzer was an auto mechanic at independent auto shops for years. Recognizing the systemic oppression that prevented other queer folks from entering the trades, she went to law school to fight discrimination in the trades. She co-founded the Reckoning Trades Project to increase the representation and retention of queer and transgender folks in the trades.
