The Construction Center of Excellence is proposing a new approach to test and evaluate the mentorship training model in Washington’s construction sector to provide concrete evidence of the benefit of integrating Essential Skills training into existing mentorship structures including measuring its effects on workers skills, job performance, and business outcomes of firms - with the aim of demonstrating its return on investment for employers. Training to begin Fall 2020

To be considered for selection, you agree to the following:

  • Schedule training

  • Register 100 Pre-apprentices and/or 1st year Apprentices for training

  • Register 100 Last year Apprentices for training

  • Assist with registering minimum of 3 Employers for training (Maximum of 50)

  • Collect program data for a final report
