Locator of the Year Nominations OPEN!

NUCA of WA is looking to present Locator of the Year Award to three locators. One each in King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties. If there is a locator that goes above and beyond when you call in 811 locates we would like for them to be considered for this award. Communication a key component when excavating and locators are part of that component.  

The biggest criteria is the locator needs to nominated by an active NUCA of WA contractor. After that please provide us with information on how the locator makes your crew more efficient and productive.  

• Does the locator locate on time? If not does the locator work around your schedule?

• Does the locator locate accurately and/or inform you when they are having trouble with locates?

• Does the locator have overall good communication with the crew?

The locator that is selected for the Locator of the Year Award will receive a $500 check or a donation to a charity of their choice, a plaque and a safety vest that says NUCA of WA Locator of the Year on the back.  

The winning locators will be invited to the annual auction and presented the award at the auction. Either In House locators or Contract locators can be nominated.
